so anyways , what did people think about how the points this year ? happy to have gotten what you wanted , etc ?
I think that 'Computer Science' dropping 80 points was the biggest change in UCC. It was document during the week that the numbers applying were way down for it.

I am now offically abandoned, my friend joanna, who was in the same course(applied chemistry) as me has decided that she wants to do civil engineering instead and has been offered a place!!
Now I only have Colin left in my class! And he's gonna get me kicked out!

I'm half thinking about doing them in college (far far away!), but I just wanted to hear about them from someone who is doing them.

Psychology... I'm starting to think that EVERYBODY here in Belgium is learning it! Why is it so tempting to study psychology? Less hours in university? Lien

I never knew Elec Eng Cert in CIT was so low. The only courses I applied for were the Degree and Cert courses in Elec Eng. I didn't even check the points beforehand. I was offered both, but I choose the Cert course, more options. The 150 points would explain the large number of primates in my year though. Not trying to be offensive, but some of them hate maths, hate physics and have no intrest in computers. Why they choose this course I will never know. Sadly, all this leads to is a huge drop out rate. My class started the year with about 40 students, now there is only about 25 of us left. I reckon we could loose between 5 and 10 more over Christmas. Pretty bloody ridicules.
