what good's the 15th like? thats mid week!
well you could take the Monday & Tuesday off or the Thursday & Friday off. And have a nice weekend of it. It's the ascension as far as I know, it's called Mariahimmelfahrt in German , literally Mary's Cloud Journey.

Yeah, and if any of our "bank holidays" as I like to call them fall on a weekend we don't get anything...for instance if the 15th falls on saturday...we don't get a day off at all.
emmm it's a "Church Holiday" in my primary school we used to get some, way back when, as it was run by brothers. But at some stage companies stopped giving them off to workers in Ireland, and the "Holy Day of Obligation" was knocked on it's head. Then the schools stopped giving them as the parents were around to mind the little ones and bring them to mass.
I think that's what happened in Ireland ... no ?
So what is everyone (in Ireland) doing for the bank holiday weekend ? There seems to be a feck load of GAA games on Sat & Sun.
thats because they have changed the championship so that everytime gets to play 14 times a week whether they win or loose!
im in dublin going to the zoo zoo zoo, how about you you you

cant believe none of rest of u had anything to look forward to
my latest "looking forward to thing" is my new job ! woohoo. 3 years doing 1 thing is certainly enough.

I'm looking forward to being done with my course of teeth whitening. Damn over the counter products that don't fit properly!
I love to look forward to going places.

Nah, the strips are worse than the trays. They're just never going to be as good as actual moulds of your teeth.
