Performance artist Mark McGowan has cooked and eaten a Corgi in protest against the mistreatment of a fox. :eek:

Mr McGowan, a vegetarian, did his "performance" together with Yoko Ono to draw attention to the, err, RSPCA's inability to prosecute Prince Philip and his friends. Prince Philip and his buddies like to go fox hunting. Apparently animal activists approved of the stunt. Mr McGowan reports the meat(minced and cooked with apple, onion and seasoning) to have been really really disgusting. Does anybody else here find this slightly bizarre and not really understand the point of this?

"To me it was, as an art piece, exhilarating," he said after the show.

hmmm dont think id fancy corgi sandwiches. id like to know how humanely the dog was killed for the stunt.

is fox hunting still legal in england? if it is then whoever does it cant be found guilty, im pretty sure there is some law about eating little dogs though. can you imagine getting a puppy knowing you are going to eat it or going to the pound for a corgi? nasty

good ole yoko ono eh, not satisfied with splitting up the batles now shes eating puppies.

No, it's banned, but people are finding loopholes.

"Fox hunting with dogs is now illegal in England and Wales after a ban on the activity came into force overnight."

Earlier, a report found 40% of hunts had broken the law since it took effect, but supporters dismissed that.

Hunting foxes with dogs was made illegal under the Hunting Act in February, but hounds can be used to follow a scent and to flush out a fox.


Birds of prey are allowed to be used to kill foxes lawfully
The fox can then be killed by a bird of prey or shot - if only two dogs are involved.

thats sounds whack! you can still kill them but only if you do it this way!
