It should be okay enough. The market is pretty fluid at the moment AFIAK.

Do take the time to look around and find a place that is both nice and near your place of work (if possible).

congrats btw.

Yeah plenty of accommodation around, especially if you're not near either of the colleges or will be driving.

btw. if you are looking for suggestions on where to live, it might be helpful to say where the company offices are located.

douglas ... and it will be in the summer time so i guess i can sublet somewhere. it kinda was a bit of a worry before i accepted it as not sure how the housing thing is in cork. but you'll gave a bit of reassurance. feeling really happy as some of my friends got interships in really bad locations but cork is a lot safer than some areas in uk and cheaper than london or dublin.

Douglas .. cool ! Don't forget to check out KC's chipper !

If you are working in Douglas, you can get accommodation in Grange & Donnybrook, or something closer to town along the Douglas Rd. Ideally somewhere in between Douglas and the City, on the #7 or #6 bus line would be my recommendation.
