Watched this last night and I thought it was a great film. Probably not worth watching twice, but it was indeed very funny. There was plenty of jokes against the Jewish people (Sacha Barron Cohen is Jewish) which went down pretty well in a mainly German cinema, funnily enough. I was a bit disappointed that the interview parts, where he talks to people who don't know about him, weren't a bit longer or a more significant part of the film.

Thats the kind of laughing I expected TOT. It was funny though, it was weird to hear all of the Germans laughing at the jokes about the Jews...

I laughed so much I almost hurt myself.
"May George Bush drink the blood of every man, woman and child in Iraq!" Roffle :D
Poor poor Pammy.

I'm sure the Pammy thing was staged. And it makes me wonder whether the other bits were too.

If you’ve seen the film and are wondering about the parts that weren’t staged - here (http://www.fhmus.com/articles-2346.asp) are some comments from the victims who came out worst, explaining how they got duped. Namely - the rodeo man, the car salesman, and the frat boy.

Fear not, that Borat DVD you bought at Best Buy is not pirated, although appearances are somewhat deceiving.

As it turns out the DVD release of Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan was made to look low-budget. Apparently there is not a word of english on the packaging. The DVD cover also appears to look color-copied (complete with off color tones, slightly blurred company logos, blurry text and moire pattern/lithographic scans.
now this looks cool
