bbbbbbooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnngggggggggggg i think that sums up the movie for me. and i read a review that said any movie that has the line "i need to find a library fast" should be avoided at all costs, i couldn't agree more.

i read the book and enjoyed it but the movie was just so long and slow moving.

Haven't seen the film yet but I reckon it can't be any worse than the book. Someone kill Dan Brown for me please, painfully if possible. The man brings the entire literary world into disrepute!

on the positive side it did encourage people who don't read to read. but the negative it's not high end literature, but people books do tend to be the appeal to the lowest common demoninator if they are so popular.

I read the book to see what the hype was about, it was pretty good as far as suspense type novels go. I will probably see the film just because the book was so hyped up. Usually am dissapointed by the film after reading a book, but what the hey, I have no plans for the weekend and its supposed to rain. ;)

I saw this film the week before last, and I must say I thought it was pretty good. The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown is a great story, and the film showed it pretty well. One criticism would maybe be that someone like Harrison Ford and not Tom Hanks should have played the Professor Robert Langdon. The girl from Amalie, Audrey Tautou, plays Sophie Neveu is as hot as hell in it. The romance part didn't come across so much in the film, and it's probably better it didn't. in the end the film was interesting (eventhough I knew what was going to happen).

There isn't much special effects, but they aren't really needed in a film like this. 8/10.

The cinema I saw it in was mucho crappy though :(

Well I've read the book now (like 2 weeks ago) and it was quite good. I kinda lost concentration over the last few chapters so may have missed some important bits. Oh well, will probably download the film.

I liked the book apart from the ending, seemed very rushed to me. I haven't seen the movie yet looks pretty good though.

Hello there,
The concept and the theme is superb. The basic theory of the book is that Jesus had a child with Mary, and this bloodline is traced through the centuries and guarded by a secret brotherhood.
