V for Vendetta

Saw the film last weekend and thought it was bloody brilliant! Anyone have any knowledge of the novels? Whether they're good or not and how true the film is to them?

Just saw V for Vendetta and thought it was very slow - there is probably at least half hour of the film that could be cut out. i thought it was extremely predictable and couldn't see a point at all really for the character played by Natalie Portman. 4/10 - only for the cool special effects!

i thought the same, very long and boring. good idea the way america was gone an england went dictatorship but not enough action or something, it was missing something i can't exactly say what. same as the matrix, brilliant idea that wasn't well enough thought out for a brilliant ending.
