Hey!
Just wondering what pubs ye all go to?
I'm always out and about so I have probably passed a few of ye around the place!!
i dont go out as much but i can be found n fionnbarras, quad, qube, brog, preachers, oval, mutton lane,sin e, corner house, franciscan well, spailpin fanac, cruiscin lan, costigans but not for ages, old oak, mardyke, brunos even but never a club. what about yourself?
Ah, in the days of being at home, I could usually be found in Club 1 (RIP) or redz. Pubs were JD Styles and Brunos or the Brog and franciscan well depending on who I was with. Occasionally the Old Oak too.

I can sometimes be found in the Jericho Tavern, but not very often... don't go out too much these days!
I know Jen, I know! But 1 is gone and Savoy is too big and expensive. Redz is where everyone is these days. From what I hear.

where ever. i am out most week ends. living it up. go knowhere inparticuler. could find me in almost any pub around the city.
go to a club most of the time around 12ish and the club could be any where cubins ,savoy does not realy matter to me...

Jeez. Ya don't go out as much? No place to go to? What were ya like when ya did go out?
I could be found anywhere bein honest
When i go out with the girls we always start in Brannigans(Nevada Smiths) and where we end up is anyones guess!!
I am a fan of the Long Island... love the place
Im also found in the Mercury Lounge, Brunos and The Washington Inn or The Old Oak quite a bit.
My favourite nights out are ones where we go on pub crawls.... WOOOO!!!
I think most of the clubs in Cork are shit.
Usually end up in Rafterz or Redz during the week.
Possibly Savoy or Cubins at the weekend.

Being turned into a gig venue by all accounts. Hurray!
Yup, it closed down on New Years Eve. Very sad. But (on the hush) it's supposed to become the new Lobby.

haven't been out in the city for a while, but when i do go usually stick to the same old places i say i'll never go to again but always end up goin back to such as the brog, quad. recently got into liking bruno's mardyke place with the pool tables and the cube since they put freakscene there, not bad places at all.
not really a fan of clubbing and only go to em when drunk, and when i go there and i am drunk they all seem the same so i don't really care.
le chéile's is my main spot along w/ preachers. can't stand teh oak.
club where ever, savoy, qube(freakscene), fast eddies (never through choice) mainly

An Brog, the Phoenix, the LV, the Shelbourne (urgh - usually only with folks from work on the piss), Sinners, the Quad, Preachers, Tom Barry's, Franciscan Well, Fredz.
If at all possible I avoid clubs in cork because in my experience they all suck ass; freakscene and camouflage are the only two club nights I've ever enjoyed in Cork and since the Half Moon and Sir Henrys aren't available as venues anymore it's just not worth it.
(also, I AM RETURNED! Rejoice! Repent! Or maybe just say "Who the hell is he? I hadn't noticed he was gone, to be honest...")

Yesterday wasn't. I was fine after saturday night until a random sneeze at brekkie time managed to activate my hangover. Bleurgh...
Well, OK, using the excuse that it's my annual-getting-older-and-complaining-about-it-day this weekend, how about pints? Pretty much any day suits me, though I have been attempting to get the folks from the Boards.ie cork forum to do a session on the friday and we could mix the two together....
Thoughts? Responses? Jeers along the lines of "shut up you geriatric git"?
ahhaa, i was just puffy eyes all day yesterday and worse today!

Ah, why not? Sounds like a laugh, and I'm sure I can drag melusine away from WoW for long enough to hit the pub for a bit. :)
Now now, I don't have that much of a deathwish...I think luring her there with the scent of Jack Daniels would be a better plan with the debatable bonus of me not dying before I get there.

well, I'm no longer in Cork :( and haven't been for ages...but I know a good friend of mine frequents an brog and the franciscan well...don't know as he's been out much lately but he used to. Course..you won't see him for a couple weeks for certain cause he's over here for a short trip.

there is a new club night starting this friday in cryprus avenue. They will be playing most rock and metal music and it should be good fun, thought i'd give it a plug here as i know the person organising it. come along to it, they need good attendance for the first night if its to go on as a regualar thing. thats this friday the 1st in cryprus avenue above the old oak bar.
admission? time? Line up?

it was a good nite alright, glad to se eit was a success on the 1st night, hopefully people will stay goin to it and it will be around for a while.
