i dont know how this happened but i am going to a metallica gig!
anybody else going?
i was lucky enough to have the sweet pervy guy from work get them for me this morning! standing for €75 quid i find a bit steep but sure i'll give it a go!
i only ordered 3 and since then due to no fault of my own, adrians mate has been left out! i barely know where our tickets are! grrr never give me the responsibilty of somebodies metallica experience!
emm i have a question, have i spelt that right? as in the bands name? im limewiring it just to get a bit more accustomed to their tunes but i dont get any results for that spelling but loads for M E T T A L L I C A, with two "T"s? who's wrong?
they are, i think.

its the 11th that they are playing! can u change that pablo! sorry jen but then again u do live in a different country! where are your tickets happy joy joy? i wonder will they sell out? i dont know if im looking forward to it or not. i know i'll end up queing to be in a magical pit tho. sounds...charming!

i jumped in to that magical pit last time. forced my way to the front then over the barrier flew past the bouncers and in i went. got some class pics too :) ya i rock...... im one of those mental metallica fans :P
im afraid i'll get too into them. like its been a while since i could say that i had a favourite band. from what i downloaded i like most of what ive heard and have some grat live sessiuns of them. im looking fgorward to it. im on nights that week anyhow so im sure ill be in fine form by 7pm on the 12th. theres already tickets on ebay! fecksake! thanks for changing date pablo!

i got my ticket, woo hoo. can't wait. i got a pit pass to go up the front with my ticket so no 3 hour long que for me this year. and i'm goin to a festival in germany week before to see em again and a load of other bands. oh what a summer this will be. and rick rubin is producing the new album. things couldn't get much better.
how u manage the ass outlaw? i am not accustomed to such fantastic things

buy them directly off the metallica fan club.gota join an stuff to do it but it is worth it. i hate the 3 hour que for those wristbands,

there a heavyer band then metallica but on a class live show prob wont be subjected to the flet of bottles that suport for metallica norm get.
did the song for top 30 hits? remember that show?
i remember top thirty hits but cant remember song. if u get name i will take it from there and my education will begain

i don't get my tickets till the day of the show which is a bit worrying i think if there is any mess up an i'm in dublin an i have no tickets. ah hopefully it'll all work out. there should be an official feckthat meetup at the concert similar to the 2003 one since there seems to be a few people off the board going.

prob gonna go up friday and go home monday or even go on a around ireland trip with 2 stops in dublin in 3 days
oka that sounds....imaginative. ive work the monday night but seeing as thats contract work and june is so far away im not too bothered

ya stayin up on the saturday an sunday nights. great party atmosphere in dublin night before the show.
on ticketmaste rit says the gates open at 9 an show begins at 12, so there must be alot more bands, unless ticketmaster got it wrong.
how long into night will they play like? im a big venue virgin! i was told wear steel toe if possible....

ya steel caped shoes for kickin, they play till about 11ish i think.an then i takes bout an hour to get out an back into dublin. the rds is great, great security and food an stuff, you should enjoy it.
but if the show begins at 12 owen....?

ya thats what i'm sayin, they must have made a mistake, or else there is like 5 or 6 bands playin. usually show begins around 3 ish or 4, with support given an hour, but korn are massive so they might get longer.
in the afternoon? but this aint a festival its just a concert? wow i am so naive in the ways of how to rock!

ok, there is 2 gates. outside and venue entrace. outside opens around 9 or 10 so u can que up an get a wristband for the front, last 2 years inside opened at i think 3 but i'm not exactly sure, u go in to the venue where there is all shops sellin crap an food,like a mini day festival. then support comes on an plays. metallica hits the stage at around 7 or 8 an play for like 3 hours.
that sounds soo tiring...... im gonna need lucozade

yup it really is, and thereis a lot of waiting around, alot. but its all worth it, or u can just turn up at 5 in the day an see support an metallica, no queing but ya won't get up the very front.

they weren't hibernating, just resting(only joking). and it was bear hunting season. and he didn't hunt that much over there he was drunk most of the time.

Yes, Yes you will. I got scalded on one side of my face last time but i didn't go to the medic tent, oh no, coz that's not the rock thing to do now is it, i went to the VIP bar and melted a big glass of ice off my skin and then ate free ice cream! Yummy!

everywhere in dublin is booked out now i think, hostels an the like. I booked back in feb or march. a friend of mine who wants to go said he rang up a few places and they said they had no rooms left.
im goin up sat morn it seems and back monday and one the hostels we found online is like we have to sort stuff and dont reallyh know what we have and hotels are like 300 or 400 and sorry but i aint paying that
You could always kip in one of those nice train stations or DART stations. Just bring your sleeping bags. I think people sleep in the doors of Grafton street too, if you got there early you could be lucky.
Seriously though, you should just wrangle your way to some after party and kip there.
yeah who knows what happen. just got a letter this morning saying my driving test is on june 10th. thankfullly in the morning tho. hopefull i will have cause for celebration
due to unforseeable circumstances i wont be atending concert. anybody know wnaybody who wants a ticket?

i'm just back from the metallica rock im park show, it was unbelievable, you gota go to this gig. if the dublin show is even half as good it'll be worth it. master of puppets from start to finish, unbelievable.

hehe wow daddy who have come back from the dead! how very rock and roll!
well what did everybody think like! i wasnt online at all last week when i still had the aches and pains and blisters from the experience. i enjoyed it except for the stupid runners i wore. funny watching adrian and sham try to keep all crowd surfers from kicking the crap out of me and ciara. some funny individuals were encountered and i managed to video perfectly what i was told was a rare play of orion in its complet-ity.

i had a good laugh. bust up my ankle something savage do. still hurts even now, its all the colours of the rainbow at the moment.
prob should of stoped and took the weight off it when it happened, but like a true rocker i figgered once i did not stop moving on it. it will be ok and it was till hours later when i tryed to stand up and hit the deck like a tone of bricks.
but the show its self was class.
creamed some fella in the pit who was throwing punches and alike, with 2 new found friends that where next to me at where sick of him too. the 3 of us went in and hit him from 3 sides and folded him up like a deck chair and he wasnt seen from again.
did not get much of the other bands just the last 20 odd mins of the last act on b4 metallica. due to being in the pub. but herd them play walk by pantera. witch was kinda cool.
all in all had a great weekend G'N'R where class, and say therapy? too so was good and happy
see its pups like you with the eye for an eye sysndrome that cause innnocents at such concerts to get mauled! tut tut!

eye for an eye? that fella had it coming. see im a great beleaver in mosh pit ethics. throwing elbows and punches are a no no.
