Scientists have analysed the smile of the Mona Lisa and have come up with the result she is mostly happy. Read the report from CNN here: http://www.cnn.com//2005/TECH/12/16/mona.lisa.smile/index.html. Why try to analyse the smile? It is one of history's greatest enigmas and mysteries.

The findings? Mona Lisa was 83 percent happy, 9 percent disgusted, 6 percent fearful, and 2 percent angry, according to the British weekly "New Scientist."
Typical woman?
perhaps the typical woman, perhaps not,

I'm abuot 97% depressed at the moment, but it's starting to go down. I got rid of my lip piercing today.

yeah, basically.
anyways.... back to topic....
how do they tell that mona lisa is 83% happy, etc? like what methods do they use
They used computers to compare the facial expressions of other people who were happy or sad or whatever. And then checked mona. So the computer was tuned to analyse people and they just used it on her too.

Wonder how happy I'd be, if I was analysed?
depends on the analysis, friend of mine's sister did depression studies on shellfish, they had to be blended to be analysed though....

Blend me? I'd be even less happy than the Louvre if that was done to me, let alone the Mona Lisa.
we figured all her shellfish would be extra depressed coz they were gonna be whizzed up

Apparently if you blend a number of species of live sponges together and then leave them in water they seperate into their original species of sponge. Apparently.
