I really liked the film but I didn't think Ledger's character required all that much acting ability. And to be fair its probably a good thing. Just my opinion.

And the word is "diss", not "dish".

this years oscars are a pretty mediocre affair. i mean there wasn't any real fantastic film this year. which was strange cos theres always one that usually stands out.

the only one out of all those that i have seen is crash, don't thik i'd like any of the other nominations from the clips of them i've seen apart from walk the line which looks great.

on a slightly different note the raspberry awards(think thats what they are called) were out today as well for the worst film of the year. surprisingly i have seen a lot of these nominations and didn't think they were too bad.

I would be voting for joachaim phoneix in walk the line, he was so brilliant.
ok, you do not need to be a fan of johnny cash, but he was so believible that it was freakly! he has so much abilty to transform into another's character. the film was superb!
the films love story is so slowly developed and the characters are not charactures of "country folk", rence withspoon is alright in it but MR. Phoneix is excellent in it.

broke back mountain is not that grat and foung leaders accent to irrating and not great. (did anyone else think that it was like he had a mouth full of tissue when he tried to talk?)

What language is that?!

"joachaim phoneix" is spelt Joaquin Phoenix
"rence withspoon" is spelt Reese Witherspoon

Honestly, I can't get over what passes for English these days.

On behalf of those people who may or may not be illiterate and/or have faulty keyboards, I find that highly insensitive!

Yes, Mr. Pablo, sir.

On that note, I hope Paul Haggis gets best director for Crash. Best film I've seen in a couple of years! Have yet to see Munich though so I might be changing my mind.
