I just got told I can finish up today and that I'm not needed as of tomorrow (stupid temping). What am I going to do? I'm really scared :(

check the papers

take up some craft, you might be able to sell the products, you might not, but it'll kill some of hte time between jobs

Do they have any other openings in the company you are in ? maybe apply for them.

try going to one of those job agencies. they seem pretty good. never tried one tho

thats the balls with temping you can never relax. shit happens but so does good shit. i was out of work for like 5 weeks during summer. got with an agency and built relationship with consultant who always stayed on lookout for me even when i was in a placement, and im finaly almost happy with a job, well the money anyhow.

stay positive and upbeat and things WILL turn around. dont spend time moaning. there are jobs out there and even though you may have to work places you wouldnt normally consider it will all help build character, add to your CV and benefit you no matter what the job.

THAT made me beam, i'd forgotten all about that :D

Well, Crispin has an interview for some manner of IT agency next week, my agency are on the case (they were seriously like "wft is wrong with him telling you you can finish up today"), and anyway, I'm supposed to be going around banks in the future trying to get £300,000 for our Business plan (which is written up and if anyone wants a look at it, PM me!!), so perhaps it's good timing!!

My agency are stars - I'm now working for the next few weeks in the national Blood Service (or whatever they're called) :D hurrah!!
