sorry to all the irish speakers
AM torn between a night w/ a really good friend of mine in Tipp with all her nutty friends or a night with load of my good friends in cork......
The two times I went to town on New Years Eve were major dissapointments, long queues for the bar/taxis is all over rated. Give me the wilds of Dingle anyday !

Dingle is crazy on New Years Eve, I remember watching three generations of one local family getting plastered in the Droichead one year! Where in Dingle you heading Pablo? I can personally recomend a beach party on Ventry beach (weather permitting of course:eek: ).:D
A house out from the town a bit, there's a gang of us have it booked

Out East or West of the town?
'twould be West I suppose, Ventry direction.
Stayed out in Murrioch last year which was very nice but we didn't book it in time this year so we couldn't get the same place.

I would recommend counting down to midnight in the house. Head into Dingle early for a few drinks, but it will pack up around nine, the pubs will get very crowded. It is very difficult to get a cab later on in the night.
Personally I wouldn't be that bothered going into Dingle on New Years Night at all. But that is just me. Either way I guess I will be in a merry disposition. :umm:

New Year's Eve is the only night of the entire calender year where, if given a choice, I would rather spend it celebrating in somebody's house rather than the pub.
Absolutely, well that and Stephen's night.

We've got a house down in that part of Dingle. It's not properly built yet though, so I won't be there this year. Next year I'll be in Edinburgh for Hogmanay!
