any 1 know where to finda a CHEEP small impeller or the pump from a the windscreen of a car?

must impeller must run on 9 volts r less the pump can maybe be up to 12 volts as i think there all 12volts. anyway do you know where to get one or the other?

whts wrong with the impeller/are u sure its the impeller thats at fault it could be yur diffuser aswell all the same they can be easily glued back together unless its fractured and gone through the volute?

huh?

its not that there is something wrong with the impeller/pump its that i dont have one and kinda want one its for something im making.


but i think i might just have to make it if i want to get it right. but suggestions are welcome

the sell pumps and u could prob bug them for a design theyre relatively easy to put together but the volute casing may be hard to come by

no its not my 6th year project but it is what gave me the idea :P

there is a scap yard a little down the road from me so ill try there 1st :)

btw. what is the difference between a pump and an impeller ?

the basic diferance is in an impeller has spining blades in side it speeding up the water or what ever pushing it out to the ends of the blade at high pressure and out.

a pump prity much sucks water in one end and pushs it out out the other.


they do kinda the same job the really. the realname for an impeller is a centrifugal pump
