I'm looking for recommendations for books. Waterstones have the whole 2 for 3 thing going on again, so I might try and find something there. I know the DaVinci Code is one of the books on the 2 for 3 list. Easons have the 2 for 3 thingie but they don't have that many books on offer. I'm really bad at picking books so any help would be nice.

The summer is when I do most of my reading for some strange reason.

Cheers, might get a few of them. I think all of JG's books are in the 2 for three offer (note I don't work for Waterstones :)). The Firm, The Client, The Pelican Brief etc. Maybe I'll get one of them.
Has anyone read "Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albom ? If so, is it good ?

my faves are a time to kill, the street lawyer, the testament, and the one about the guy who faked his death and stole 90 million dollars..... the partner! (don't worry I haven't given away the story!)

I've read Tuesdays With Morrie. It's very good, but it's a weepie so becareful of reading it on the beach! I posted a review of it somewhere here before...

i love the book Scenes from behind the museum, by Kate Atkinson. Absolute classic writing. If you're one of those macho men who wouldn't admit to loving some deeply emotional and brilliant writing, stay away from it though. I won't have it insulted! lol

I've heard nothing but good things about the DaVinci Code. Animal farm by George Orwell is fabulous. All quiet on the Western front is POWERFUL reading, but it's fairly heavy going.

Kate Atkinson's Human Croquet is good too, but not as good as Museum.
