i've got my 1st sunday off in years cause i'm on hols so i might venture in for a bit of a laugh. it'll be over fairly quick i'm thinking casue you'd be down that hill in a second on any wheeled vehicle.

just back from it, town was packed, couldn't see hardly anything and they only had one big screen tv over the river, one in patrck street or somewhere would have been nice. saw none of racers get hurt. were their any injuries? thought there would have been cause some of the racers seemed to be getting up to some high speeds.

Yeah I tried to go as well but after watching the back of people's heads for about 10 minutes I gave up and left... it seemed to be pretty badly organised

i didn't stay for long, i could see feck-all, about a quarter of the screen only, and the sound wasn't great either :(

the back of the stage was at the bottom of the bridge and couldn't see past it, if they had a clear view up the hill it might have been better. still seemed a good day for those who got their early and could see what was goin on. and they got a massive crowd so it must have been a success from their point of view.

The insurers would only let them do two thirds of the hill.

Maybe we should have an experiment to see what speeds one can get up to by going the whole way down Patricks Hill.

I'd say red bull people are happy with all the publicity.

i'd love to see the thing they do where they go flying into the Liffey every year, fecking brilliant!

you have got to be kidding me i wood kill to go to france for a weddin!

Damb, if only you had said something sooner I would have let you kill me and go in my stead. Ah well...:p

To be fair, it wasn't the disaster I was predicting, I actually had a laugh. I can't speak French, and very, very few people there could speak English ( read 3! ), so comunication was a strange sight to behold!:mwaha:

Gravity Racers do what Soap Boxes do, but at much greater velocities! Look up the current Gravity Sports Race Calendar on the Uk Gravity Sports Association Website on www.ukgsa.com
