does anyone know how to convert Quicktime files (.mov) to .mpeg?????????
i'm sure there are programs you can download , do a search on google . It has all to do with the way they encode the file, whats called a codec, so if you get a program you should be able to convert it. Alternatively you could download a quicktime viewer, which might be better in the long run.
Quick Time is a lossy (and lousy) format, so be prepared for your conversion to be of pretty bad quality - garbage in garbage out. Real Media is worse though.
Use a program called EO video at www.eo-video.com. It will work with as long as you have quicktime installed on your computer. However, some quicktime version 6 movies might not convert.

2 don't seem too bad to be honest. i was using the stuff that predated sonic stage though. was cool but used vast swathes of memory
