I'm sure I posted the history of this place once, albeit a bit drunkenly, i'll try and fish it out for you.

Anyway we have members from all over the place, america , england, france , germany etc. Anyone is welcome to join. Its just panned out that I got my friends to join who were mostly in cork, we had a forum for radio station in cork and that got a few more people here. And they got their friends and their friends friends etc.

I can't find it at the moment but I will find it in the end.

I don't know really about advertising, it can get a bit of a headache trying to manage the place if too many new people register at once, and we start to get over popular. We will keep it in mind. Mind you there has been a steady increase since the start of the year in the interest in the site.

can't throw bob out. he's a throwback to the very early boards. i'm talking all the way back to eggs wit legs here. as he's right it's pablo so sexual favours will probably be involved(or click the upgrade link at the top of the page)

ya i suppose i probably will subscribe when i get the airgead. is the e-mail pop3 or web based??? i'm getttin of sick of not being able to use outlook for my hotmail account. thats why i still use eircom!!

i think it can be done alright. oulook is always signing me into to messenger

when i open outlook express and connect to the net to downlaod my mail outlook express signs me into messenger and doesn't let me log out until i close outlook. i'm almost 100% sure you can rig outlook to download hotmail

There defo is the pop3 option on hotmail, they brought it out bout a year or two ago

as far as I know you don't get POP with normal hotmail or normal yahoo!

i just fired up outlook here on my my aunt and uncles machine cos i remember it being there for the and it is. they download hotmail through outlook. hten again they are both computer programmer type people with decades of experience between them so maybe they rigged it themselves

No, I do that too! I also have my eircom email account on it. (even tho it's only Outlook Express)

Ah, you mean bill+ted! excellent. see, you learn something new everyday.

As for outlook express, open it up - go to tools, accounts, 'mail' tab, new->mail, type your name, press next, give your hotmail email address, pres next, choose HTTP server and pick the server (hotmail is given i think) and then your username and passowrd for hotmail (so it can log in) et voila! it is done!

what you do is synchronise your email account when you go online, it normally does it for you!
