We just found out today that warner brothers are supplying every cinema with night vision scopes so that security can make sure that no one is using a camcorder during harry potter 3, talk about overkill, they also want cinemas to implement random bag searches.

They seem to think its to hide a camera, but a lot of people do actually bring drink and stuff in with them in backpacks

its massive plot to steal our food!! i'd say we bring in camcorders and throw them off the scent.......

well theres a big warning at the start of the movies saying that if you suspect someone of using a camera to inform a member of staff...............
just tell me and we'll split the profits :D
wait until the end of the film though, and just confiscate the tape.

steal me a pair of night vision goggles too will ya. be handy for wandering around in the woods at night
I get most of my movies online while in uni, tis true im a pirate, yo ho ho, shiver me timbers and so-on!
But the quality of some are incredible, e.g. My copy of Kill Bill Vol.2 is flawless.
Most of these said pirates use high definition digital cameras and place them usually on a tripod as oppose to the typical hidden in bag technique, some of the guys ive spoken to said most people nearby could give two-shits...
My responce is this stupid staggering of movies depending on regions only encourages piracy...Example Hellboy and many many others.
They should emloy the tactics that new-line cinema used for the LOTR trilogy and also the matrix sequels. Global realisedates.
Demois what do you use ? kazza or bit torrent or one of those. I'd say the downloading is very popular with americans as it costs about $10 to go there.
