I downloaded this a few nights back and may i say it totally demolishes the previous movie.
I wasnt too gone on the first but i can honestly say this was an excellent movie.
Puss In Boots = Genius!
Its out in July, GO GO GO!!!
Next week I think, friday the 28th. It should be a good one alright. I'm sorry now I never got to see it in the cinema when it was in. Was the sound track up to the usual standard ?

Well the music was great from what i heard, the increased budget is clearly shown the cast and storyline in general is much larger.
Overall it totally bitch-slaps the first movie.

i had shrek 2 on dvd in my house the other day, dunno where it came from and didn't ask for fear of having info on pirates and goin to jail. i was all excited put it in my ps2 to watch it, pressed play and nothing. the sound was going and i could hear it all but no pic, it did sound very funny tho, some good jokes but i'll just have to wait for its offiial release. don't illegal copied dvd's work in ps2's. this was the first one i had.

If it was on a dvd-r the first wave ps2 won't play it back, you'll have to get the new and improved 2nd version

i was always fond of the gingerbread man. is he in this one??? did anyone get the dvd players in dunnes for 20euro??? they are really good players!!!!
my friend gave me a copy on dvd. tis hi-lar-ious! Gingerbread man is in it and theres an even bigger one this time!
prince charming got on my nerves tho

ya i have a fairly old ps2 that must be why it didn't play. was talkin to some people today who saw it and said they didn't like it. they must be crazy people tho cause every one else seems to like it.

my ps2 played the matrix2 when i got it. i doesnt play VCDs and that really pisses me off!! i'll get it off ebay soon.

I can't wait to see Shrek 2. I saw Puss in Boots and I fell about the place, Antonio Banderas' voice = funny shtuff.
as for platform wars, i love my laptop. it plays EVERYTHING. It's even multi-region. I didn't know that til the other day.

Only just got to see Shrek. Excellent.. cant wait to see is the gingerbread man in the next one. He must be, my sister in law arrived on Saturday with her Nephew and he had a blow up ginger bread man. Think he got it in a meal at BBK or Mc Donalds.??

see shrek 3 is planned already for 2006 and shrek 4 for 2009 releases. they have the contracts and things with some of the actors all set up aparantly so they will definately be goin ahead. that might be a bit of overkill don't ya think, how far can ya take those story book jokes.

ya but wasn't the matrix also planned as a trilogy. that didn't really work. maybe if they have the general story all planned and stuff it might be good. but isn't shrek based on a book that is supposed to be really bad, hope they don't use that for the next 2 parts story line. i suppoese i'll be resurrecting this post in the summer of 2009 and eating my words when shrek 4 is the funniest thing in years.
Ah Shrek 2 is jus so brilliant. Jus back from seeing it there. The gingerbread-man is to cooolest little dude ever. N i loved Puss-in-Boots!

just back from seeing it too. it was funny but i was expecting more, puss in boots was hilarious alright tho, was kinda slow moving. prefer the 1st one. i'd say when i get it on dvd it'll be funnier. there seemed to be a lot of very small quick jokes that's you'd hardly notice. like when fiona throws the mermaid back to the see and it gets eaten by sharks, hardly noticed that. or when puss in boots was being searched on the knights show and they found the little bag on him.

ya i got it on pirate DVD. i thought i was savage. equally as good as the 1st one. it doesnt happen that often when a sequel is as good as the first movie!! really funny!!1
went to see it last night and i thought it was brilliant, loved puss in boots and donkey was fantastic, as usual :D

Alright, Shrek 2 was good.
I wouldn't class it as great or anything. Pretty much same run of the mill jokes about American fast food MTV culture. The only part I found really entertaining was the Knights part and the Mission Impossible take off.
Why all the hype though. I didn't really enjoy Shrek 1. I was mostly bored by it. People seem to be saying its the greatest thing ever.
I think that its like Titanic, we'll look back in a few years and go, what were we thinking...

Nope, because I still look back at Titanic and think "That was a great movie... I love Leonardo DiCaprio..."
