[stairway 2 hell]

twas about time somone started this thread. its a program on the discovery channel about a family who own a company called orange county choppers and basically they make some off the wall bikes which are the shit. the head honcho is the father, paul teutal senior and under his command is paul teutal junior, the guy who designs most of the extreme bikes and his other son (i think) michael teutal who sits on his ass and does nothing (well he answers the phone). theres also a couple of other guys floating around the place namely vinny. the show includes many loving father/son moments such as "come over here and turn around so i can punch you in the back of the head" and "hey vinny. give me something to throw at him. like a hammer." to put it bluntly the kicks ass!! tell me some of ye other people have seen it?

I have, it's fucking brilliant. I remember them doing a special one where the young fella made his first proper bike and it was themed on an air force jet. Twas well cool, mise agus m'athair were watching it. Them fellas rocked, we decided.

ah i love that show. that black widow bike is so purdy!! it's so funny two. like the guy who does nothing was supposed to wrap a bike frame up and send it out and instead he played with bubble wrap all day. classic!

he even walked by the thing numerous times to get more bubble wrap. i mean he was there talking to the camera after his dad exploded at him and he's like (said in pure stoner voice) "i was meant to wrap up and send out the frame but i forgot (after repeatedly walking by it looking for bubble wrap). i was just so busy answering the phones (cue previous footage of him sitting on his ass playing with the bubble wrap)." man he's so stupid. the show is cool though. cant wait to see that fire truck bike he's building!! and the blcak widow bike is not purdy. its sex on wheels....

we all know they only gave the waster a job because he's related to them. sometimes it's so funny when the father and son fight. like the son made the father cry one day (yes as in the big scary guy who screams at everyone!!). it was hilarious!!

anyone see it last night? man the two pauls were really goin at it. they spent a good 5 minutes (of the actual show) arguing full flake only to, as always end back at square one. they cant even agree to disagree. and did you see the bike the kid made? bitchin....

you'll get to see the fire truck bike tonight kev. it's on at 8 on discovery. the cody project bike was class alright. kids only 15 and he's doing that. designed and built it in 6 days! and we complain about leaving cert engineering projects

sham feck archaeology and feck chem eng. we go off get a certificate in general engineering and welding and make our own bikes. you can be the big guy who runs the show and i'll be the guy you hurl abuse at...... amongst other things....

was on last night and oh my god that memorial bike for the firemen was something else. i thought he might of ruined it by putting on too many accessories but when i saw that carburator (which apparently had some fierce amount of time put into it) i said oh yeah. and that gold paint work was phenomenal. plus the alloys. there was too much about this bike to talk about. it was a proper way honour some true heros....

twas great last night. mike got bored so he decided to try and kick paul seniors ass but all paul sr could do was not stop laughing. plus paulie made a start on the kamanche helicopter bike. he had ten days to make it and he spent three days on the gas tank. as you can gather dad wasnt too happy. and then just to show us how inadequate we all are paul senior gave cody the chopper they made (langer, i want a bike). and apart from all that the usual mayhem. they moved shop and all paul senior did was tell'em they were moving wrong. that mans never satisfied.

ha you know the other night when they were making cody's bike, well did it seem to you that paul sr. was all upset when cody had to go to school? i's say he's swap him for his own son in a heartbeat!

god yeah. sure everytime he was comparing the two he always referred to paulie as numbnuts. plus you never see him getting mad with mikey. sure you saw the two of them kicking the shit out of each other. i think he expects too much from his son anyway. sure vinny is always the one workin with paulie but you never see paul yelling at him

he built the bike just to give it to him cos when he was having the engine built he decided 40bhp wsa enough for a kid that age. bastard, i wanna chopper like that. can't wait to see the finished comanche bike. gonna be almost totally black

he he. twas great last night. they got that sweet komanche bike finished and man was it the shit. they had a few minor technical problems (such as the gears in the engine starting to go a bit funny and tear chunks of the cam shaft but apart from that). and of coarse when the got it up and running it was only firing on one cylinder. twas funny though, they got some guy in with an acetylene torch to cut the bit that was causing all the trouble but your man only worked with scrap metal and was nearly making shit of the bike. vinny was about ready to deck him. and he's a big enough guy even when compared to senior and junior. anywho, mikeys bike is next now. cant wait for that. except having little experience actually on a bike or even working with tools i'd say he's gonna have a fun time.

how do orange county choppers make any cash, they ever only seem to be working on one bike at a time. and they spend a lot of time during the day talking about how much pressure they are under while still having enough time to spend in front of the camera talking about the rush they are in.

they actually put out around 15 bikes a week. there's a fair few different guys workeing there but we only ever get to see the main ones. the program follows them building the theme bikes and stuff like that. they generally design and build one from scratch in around a week
