importance of being educated

I dropped out of college today. Fuck it, shit happens and sometimes it's good shit. I'm just glad i've realised that i don't need a degree to feel like i've acomplished something. Fair play to everybody that knew what they wanted and found their feet in whatever course they picked. patience is a virtue that i do not have, and frankly don't want.

Fair fucks to ya for having the conviction to do it ! Any plans on what to do for now? University isn't for everybody. How long were you thinking of leaving, before you bit the bullet ?

well what happened was the fact that i got bored of doing half assed esssays that got grand marks in on sense and sensibility and beowulf (ah shes an arts student they all go) and this was getting to me because i think i can write and the last thing i wanna do is have any wee bit of raw talent i may possess whipped out of me. so i was chewing on the bullet for a long time before i realised i hadn't been to some lectures in monthes so i said to the mother i'm finished, she nearly died and my job took me on full time for the time being. checking out some journalism course both in cork and dublin, but don't fear people i have a knack for doing things the most unconventional ways and always (touch wood) falling on my feet. oh and by the way MRS CAT new bar friday night, They are brilliant please go!!!!

So what are you up to now ? Have you a job the same job still ?

My parents would have flipped at me if I said I was interested in doing something similar. Then again if I was that sure about, there wouldn't be anyway they could dissuade me from doing so.
