This morning when I was going past the Kino, the side street down there , there were gardaí with a video camera and forensic dudes combing the area.
Well the news says that it is an alleged rape of a 13 year old girl . What is happening to the city at all at all ? The attack took place just after 10pm. I know you could argue what was someone that age doing in the area at that time on a Saturday night , but our streets should be safe no matter what time of day or night.

thats really bad, not even a very bad area. i can see cork turning into some majorly crap city like limerick(sorry people from limerick but it has a really bad rep). and the guards seem to be doing nothing as far as i can see, not that many extra patrols around quiet areas or where they know trouble makers hang out.

yes she was 13 and coming out of the mardyke with her friend someone robbed her freinds bag she went after it and then a gang took her and rapped her.. thats the story from what i heard.. i hope its not true.. that poor girl has my heart out to her.
she was coming back 4m bowling with friends.
honestly it sickens me to hear wot happens on our streets. and also that story about the woman who was raped by a man(22) & 4 teens(all under 18). after they beat up her bf and locked him in the boot of the car.
the worse thing is that they will prob get only 5yrs 4 ruining 2 ppls lives!! :maad:

an alternative would be to tie them to a tree, tie there bollocks to a car and .... well do the math. theres something seriously fucked up when you can rape a person. dont matter how old they are its just as bad on any side of the spectrum....

what you want are a set of jump leads and a car battery to start with then follow kevs instructions. i'll supply the car (handily comes with car battery also) and the jump leads. someone else grab some rope and trees are free of charge
I know the 17 year old who was with the 13 year old, and apparently I know the 13 year old to see. The 17 year old was telling people what "happened", but there's no way of knowing if that's the truth.

seems the guards are questioning what exactly happened from what it says in the papers. they are waiting for reports to be finished and the scene of what ever happened is different from where the girls said it happened.
Please don't mention any names, as we can't really afford to be sued or what not.
There are reports that the attack may not have taken place at that location. There are plenty of CCTV camera's in the area so, I'd say the gardaí must be confident in find the people.
I have no intention of naming any names, I'm not that stupid! I don't think the forensics people found anything down that alley, and they paper was full of words like "allegeded" and "claims". I'm guessing there's major doubt surounding it.

no that was a lot of bullshit. they said that because they were in a fight on the northside but they were supposed to be in the mardyke. the second the gardaí mentioned the magic words CCTV, the two who were doing the alleging said that it was actually not there at all but where there were no cameras, on the northside comewhere. Load of bollocks. I think it's worse that a 13 year old would think to use rape as an excuse to get out of trouble than actually being raped, really. when i was 13 i was more worried about what subjects i was going to do in 2nd year.

Cork has become quite a scum hole in recent times. I wouldn't feel safe walking down that lane at any time of day or night.
The other day I was walking in town, and there was this kid(scumbag/knacker) who had a bike saddle in his hand. He was checking all the other bikes that were locked onto the railing on the City Library , trying to get more of them off. There must be something seriously wrong with these pups.
