that seems so strange, a company forced to raise its prices. i never bought off cd wow cause they didn't have some of the cds i wanted, i usually buy off amazon and cdnow. won't people just use other online shops now and maybe find cheaper prices thus costing the british record companys even more than if cd wow was still selling cheap.

what!!!! is that for every online store or just cdwow cause they have the courts and the record industry against them.

at least they haven't gotten play.com in yet. they said there's a case against play but i think play is too big to buckle under pressure like that.

It's such a crock of shit, why don't the bastards just drop their prices to match them? that's what EVERYONE else does! Dunnes and tesco dropped their prices to match lidl and aldi and remain competitive, why can't the british record industry? their attitude seems to be that the market environment can't change for them, it must cahnge around them, so if something threatens their pockets, sue the bastards til they crumble.

stupid fucks.

when you click to buy them about €3 is added but buy through the hongkong site....with the difference in currency the cd's work out cheaper and when they add on the surcharge for delivery to Ireland it still works out to be around €14.....

update for today:Dear Member,

WOW! We've been able to remove the additional charges for deliveries to the Ireland and UK on CDs.

We've been working our little cotton socks off to source our Chart Albums within the EU at the lowest possible price and cutting our margins even more.

In simple terms, from today the additional charges are no longer applicable. Chart CDs remain at EUR 13.95* including deliveries to the Ireland - yippeee!

There have been a few cutbacks in the office, I'm working out of the YMCA and using an etch-a-sketch as my PC was sold.

But fear not - you get our great CD price - and I'm loving the YMCA tomato soup!

Thank you for your overwhelming support!

Warmest Regards,
CD WOW!
