Those regulars here will remember last year that me and Fiath got a little flustered by Mickey Harte set up a fan club an everything and low and behold he won! (I don't like him anymore but that's not important right now!)
So another year and another set of hopefuls. I am declaring my unwavering admiration for Geroge Murphy here and now! Anyone else agree?

Georgie pretended to mess it up on purpose last week just to get the sympathy vote!

I hate George Murphy. He would be LAUGHED out of the Eurovision. He's good for covering Bob Dylan or whatever, but they're not going to take him very far. I think he only got top place out of sympathy. I haven't really decided who I like yet. I think Final 4 might get quite far, but i hate that guy from Achill Island, whatever his name is. He BUTCHERED the song "Love me" when he sang it. I like Ruth Cullen, though.
But I miss Michael Leonard :(

Who got kicked off last night? I didn't get home in time to see it... [I was devastated]
The 4 girls from Donegal and that really annoying young fella, Philip something. It was fairly boring last night to be honest, The embarassing ones are almost fully weeded out byt now so it whould be getting better and better! I was surprised that Jean Elliot was the last to get voted in, she is the best girl by far. Numbers 1 and 2 (George and that other guy??) are definately the best still!
Is that the guy who looks like he's about 12 years old? Good stuff...
I HATE JAMES KILBANE. How did he get 5th? He BUTCHERED U2. I'd say Bono would have died if he's seen it.
Well those 4 ones from Donegal were pretty shite to put it mildly, I didn't see the whole show so I can't really comment on the rest of the acts. Was the standard a little higher last year , do you think ?
I think it was better last year, but maybe this year will get better as the performers grow in confidence. Cladach sucked, and I'm glad they're gone. Linda Martin was actually being honest as a judge!

Ryan Tubridy is such a fool, he was totally out of order last night. Talk about trying to make the most of his air time! I think because of him the saying "a face for radio" was coined!
I think that Jean Elliot would be the best person for eurovision.
Compared with the last 5 from last year, this years crowd are very bad, I don't think it's a good reflection of what's out there. The judges are really annpying as well, I think this you're a star thing have outlived it's shelf life!
Jean looked hot alright last night, she'd get my vote if I had any credit , as for the best singer it would be georgie once more.
i thought louis walsh made an ass out of himself with his childish behavour. he didnt let the other guy say his bit. it was a disgrace! u call him a good business man etc etc guess any credit he had wit ppl is long gone!

Why did the judges give George grief last night about his song. I was blown away. Thought his voice was really pure and simple. Needs to work on singing while while walking though.

The voting should be limited to one vote per person. Did anyone hear about the Final Four scandal? They were "supposed" to have given €20 credit to youths, to vote for them.
The Machilltwinnies did that last year too. I think they all do it, it's a bit of a joke! I think james kilbane is still there cos Garry o malley was from mayo and now that he's gone his votes transferred to JK. The whole thing is a bit of a joke really!
just goes to show why kids shouldn't have a vote in anything more important then the eurovision :rolleyes:

James Kilbane is still there cas all the old women love him. I despise Louis "I want to have Chris Dorans babies" Walsh, but he was right about Kilbane, he is the new Daniel O' Donnell with extra dollops of cheesiness on top!!

Sometimes its best to discuss things, air your dirty laundry so to speak, so that the laundry is nice and clean again, personally i prefer to wash mine, but airing can sometimes do the trick.
