View Full Version : Tuesdays with Morrie
This is a book by Mitch Albom. It's a true story about a middle aged man (the author) who discovers that his favourite professer from University is dying. He hasn't kept in contact, as promised, and so begins to visit the old man every Tuesday, as he dies. Excellent book, but it's a tearjerker. I cried for the first 50 or so pages, read the rest of it with a lump in my throat, and cried even harder for the last 10 or so pages. I completely recommend it. And if you don't trust me, it was an international best-seller too.

i now want to read the book, but i don't think i will cause i don't like being sad.
You should read it anyway. The professer is learning how to deal with death, and what it's like to know you're dying, and it's really interesting to read. He has such an optimistic view on it. It's also full of little philosophical thoughts that are cool.
its one of the best books i have ever read. And even though I did cry through all of it-it was so inspirational and uplifting im glad i did read it. I would definitly recomend it

Saw a bit of the movie the other day, if it's anything like the book then it is defintely worth a read.
