Nicest Chips in the City has to be Hamburger Cafe in Merchants Quay :uhoh: and if your in the area, Lennox's :uhoh: :uhoh: (the proper Lennox's)

Other then that, The Fry in Ballincollig (Chip Shop) or the Golden Leaf in Ballincollig (Chinnese Restaurant) are the best i'v found!

the fry!! they are nice on the way home from the pub but eat them regularly and you can actually feel your arteries clotting with the fat, plus they changed their chips about a year ago to these skinny ones went off them then, they have reverted back to the old stlye since then tho. golden leaf is also has very nice chips.

personnally i love mcdonalds chips the most.

FREAK!!!! we got wedges back at the mo, they much nicer

Best chippy in cork is prob the golden fry in ballinlough, followed closely by jackie lennox's

There's a pretty good chipper in midleton, cant remember the name but its a fishmongers by day and chippy by night

the premier chipper in wexford is always our first stop when we come off the boat in rosslare.

if your on nine mile ride (on the roundabout in finchhampstead, just outside wokingham) in reading, then bob's fish and chips is the place to go.

:Di  chips

so thats the best chips, as for the worst-the chips in canada are the worst i've ever had, they chop the potatoe without peeling it, then fry it. i hate potatoe skins and when fried it becomes unchewable. all you good chip lovers stay away from canada. especially a fast food restaurant called arbys which speciallises in skined chips.

ya gotta eat your chips with mayo, in holland and belgium they put lovely big globs of yellow mayo on the chips, gorge!

skins are ok as long as someone precooked the spuds, they dont seem to work otherwise

Well people from the republic of cork there are other chippers outside the boundary of Cork  !!! he he! And I know Lennox's is very tasty but if you want a fresh piece of cod and chips go to either Walkers chipper in waterford city or cunninghams chipper in Tramore is class, you can go down on the beach and eat your grub! NICE :D

The chipper run by turks outside Landsdowne Road, *Foam*
The only chipper in Ireland that ive ever stated have 'clean' food. A complete Paradox!

With regards to home, Lennox's and Hillbillys.
And leave the McDonalds chip lovers alone! Their just confused and misunderstood, like japan!:p

Cunninghams in Trá Mhór are dee-lish. Not a big fan of Walkers on Mayors walk. Jonny Jumbo chi-neeze on ballybricken have fantastic chips. Lovely for dipping into your Special Chop Souy.
