Ow ow ow. I have a pinched nerve and a sensitive back that I set off over christmas in work. it hurts so bad im on a million (well, three at the moment) different painkillers this very moment and they make me so very very drowsy. Ugh. But I can't get it fixed 'cos my physiotherapist is just out of hospital having contracted pneumonia.
Does anybody have any suggestions on how to make me feel better, 'cos I can't walk straight or anything.
get on to your employer, ask him/her about work related injuries.
the physio in UCC is cheap if you can get an appointment for that .

aquapuncture. it'll fix bloody anything. give it a try anyway. couldnt really recommend anywhere cos most of my experiences with it were in dublin but find the right person at the right price and you should never have that problem again.
There is a doc in ballincolig town that does it. Pat Lee is his name as far as I remember, and he is pretty good at what he does. The Golden Pages is your friend.
I've heard that acupunture isn't good for certain things , like stuff to do with the kidneys .

I'm so desperate I'll give anything a try at this stage, it's totally limiting my movement and lifting of stuff.

generally speaking tough its good for anywhere along the spinal column or neck and it seems to do the trick...
My mum went to an absolutely brilliant one before who sorted everything out really easily for her. I'll get his details for you when she gets home. Not sure if it was acupuncture, but she had problems with her back.
