View Full Version : Flight Shenanigans
Would you board a flight knowing it was delayed 3 or 4 times - like the one from London to Washington - as it was suspected of being used in a terror strike?
I really don't think I would...
Why didn't they just put all the passengers in shackles and be done with it ?

Betcha they'll cancel my flight to NYC in February. As it is, they'll take a picture of me, and have my fingerprints on file.

no they won't ireland is one of the countries thats been granted an exemption along with most of the eu
Oh really? I guess they don't think we have what it takes to be terrorists!
I probably would plan travel to america alright, but if the flight was constantly being delayed, while they checked the plane over a number of days , I might just cut my losses and forget about it.
Belly : Eventually we will have to have the right passports for going to the US, we were given an extension.
Here is an idea : How about bringing your own bomb on board ? The probability of having two seperate bombs on any one flight are surely minimal. ;)

when they bringing in the ones with biometric data? i'm sending off for a new one next week so i can piss off to crete in march to study minoan palaces for 10 days
I think in July or something. Maybe do a search on www.oasis.ie as they have all the official rules and regulations that citizens of ireland must abide by. I'm not what exactly will be stored on the passport, but i think it is an electronic photograph and possibly your fingerprints.
Its amazing that america can actually demand this, I suppose its their country hence their rules. But it means that hundreds of thousands of visitors must renew their passports before their due date, its a nice little earner for the passport offices.
