Hey
Just wonderin if ucc is open throughout the holidays,
Just realised i've to have a statistics project in as soon as i get back- and the program it has to be done on is only in college!!
I know, I know - it would have been wiser to just do it in tutorials,
but, hey.
Is library/computer rooms open?

yeah, i got loadsa assignments and an open lab to do, wont get there til monday morning though

UCC is open alright.
For the library times go to http://booleweb.ucc.ie/

Those computer places that have swipe cards can be used til about 10pm every night of the week.

Was there today, and all gates were locked. Tragedy! I NEED to get into Aras na Laoi asap to get this stupid thing done!!!

Will try to get in again tomorrow!!!

Will try to get in again tomorrow!!!2 things, maybe knock on the lab doors on the bottom floor of Aras Na Laoi. If the program you are looking to use is S-Plus, do a search on the net for a program called R-Plus, that is almost the same and it is free (i am not sure how big/small it is).

The gates to the car parks might be closed , but you can walk through the science building and over the bridge and down the other side to get near the buuilding. The security guards will open the buildings if you ask them nicely (its there job too). But without a swipe card you might have problems are you are technically not authorised to go in. The security guards might open the lab for you, as they have cards for all the labs too.

alco is prob lookin for minitab.

you could also try knockin on the al11 labs

if you do at least 30 credits of maths/app maths/stats you can ask paul keegan for a swipe card and an account

Yeah, it's minitab i was lookin for. I got a version of it from the net, but it doesn't have the project i need. i don't do 30 creds of maths/stats etc, so i'm hopin that fella'll let me into al11 for a few hours. thanks for all the help!
