(08:32) A large saltwater crocodile has killed a man in Australia in front of two teenage companions, who had to scramble up a tree to save their lives.
Brett Mann, who was 22, was attacked by a crocodile measuring 13 feet after he had been swept into a flooded river south-west of Darwin, in the Northern Territory. His two 19-year-old friends went to his aid but the reptile turned on them.
They were forced up a tree in the middle of the river, where they waited 22 hours before being rescued by helicopter.
His poor mates having to witness that. Apparently coz they where up the tree so long and it was dark etc they could hear the croc but couldn't see him.
