I'm heading there in February for a week, and the guide books I have are just confusing me! Has anyone got good ideas/places to go/see/eat? Or any websites that are easy to understand?I can't wait! But it seems so big and confusing...

i've been there, best place in the world. it is big and scary and confusing but thats why i liked it.
there is so much to do you won't be able to fit everything in, i just suggest picking a few places you really want to see like the statue of liberty which sounded boring to me but its not and it only cost a fiver to see the statue and all the historical stuff and that includes the boat trip.

you can get a hop on hop off tourist bus thing that takes you to all the touristy places.

it is a really great place only bad thing is its so damn big you'll never want to leave cause theres always more to see and do.

How come they have cheap flights to America, esp. to New York when they are trying to deter terrorists from going there. The way I see it, the terrorists can now spend that little bit more money planning and buying better weapons due to the savings on flights.
