i can't wait, was goin to buy tickets for one of the other euro dates but then i heard they might be headlining donnington this year so i'll wait and see what the exact tour details are, only 6 months to wait, that time will fly.

tickets onsale friday morning at 9 am. (and yes i mean this friday the 19th)
So going with Sham's out, then, is it?
as long as she doesnt have to stand too near him i think she'll be ok and not too nervous.

went to get my tickets for the show today on metclub, they were charging $83 which is 66 euro, bit expensive again i thought(but metallica are worth it) and they only let each member buy 2 tickets and they don't post them out they must be collected on day of the show. all this sounds a bit dodgy to me leaving it till the day of the show to get my hands on the tickets!
any one ever deal with metclub ticket centre before?
i'm gona wait till friday and get my tickets off ticketmaster.

Just lookin at the master of tickets website they said that tickets will go on sale Fri at 9am but won't be dispatched until mid-february! That seems strange.

Oh and apparently slipknot are the opening act for most of the European dates!

slipknot are banned by parents groups or some crap from ireland, corey was talking about it at the stone sour gig i went too(absolutly fantastic gig wouldn't mind if they supported metallica).
hopefully they will find away around it like booking stone sour, murder dolls, to my surprise, sid to do a dj set and get the rest of the guys to form another band and just get together on stage as if by accident, maybe.

thats normal. they do it for big gigs sometimes to prevent people buying loads of tickets online and them selling em on. they did it for slane last year and everything worked out fine

tickets gonna come to 66 euro each if u buy standing tickets on the web. 60.50 plus 5.50 booking fee. all in all tis only a euro more expensive than last year

I was outside merchants quay at 5 this morning. Me and Darkstar, in the freezing cold. But we beat the queue - eveyone else waited til 8 to come along!! Argh!!! copuld have had two hous more sleep or so!!!

was there actually ques? i thought there would be less general interest this time since all the non metallica nuts would have gotten there fill of them last year(i know it sounds impossible but i know people who are not going because "sure i saw them last year why would i go again").
don't think it'll sell out before june.

it's actually illegal to sell them for more than face value. people selling on extra tickets id grand as long as the don't try and screw people
