hmm...we went to see it on sat night and twas a bit scary alright...and i dont scare easily at all!
what did ppl think of it?
i thought it was fairly good!! :)

i think the worst thing about that is that it is a true story! thats soo horrible.(well i heard it was a true story) :p

it was soooo scary! went to see it last night with john. I jumped about 5 feet in the air about twenty times and all he could do was laugh at me!

i think it is kind of a true story, from what i heard they took the story of the killer ed gein, changed it round alot, added teenages, changed location and added a chainsaw.

haven't seen either movie tho(old or new version). too scary for me, i'm a wuss.

Ed Gein...he was a cannibal right?Killed his mother too?My facts might be off but the name's familiar.

ya, he was a cannibal and a necrophiliac(is that how you spell it?)well he liked dead chicks. his mother died, or he killed her, dunno which. but he kept her body for years. think a lot of horror movies are based on him. physco is based on him and a few others i think.

there was a biography show bout him on during halloween.
he was a nice guy apart from the killing.

What utter bollock teen-horror shite. Nothing as good as the original, not even fucking close. This film just fucking annoyed me, i wasted 4 euro! :/

its 4 euro during the day 4 a student in the capital i think..also i heard that they are thinking about knocking down the capital to built loads of new stores and perhaps apartments.its the end of an era :(

they can't knock down the capital! i haven't been there since they built the cinema in ballincollig but still, got loads of memorys of goin to the capital. and for apartments!!!
they are knocking nancy spains for apartments too and sir henrys is being knocked for apartments, in 10 years cork will be one giant apartment complex.

Didn't know Nancy's was being knocked. I think some city planner has a thing against pubs that are alternative music friendly...:curse:

i went to the gate, i dont like the capital much. gates pretty cheap. may have been 5. i went on sat. during the day.

That's atually not true. His mother died, and he boarded up the room where she died, and never touched it again. He wasn't a necrophile or a cannabil, he just dug up dead people and skinned them, or cut off their heads and hung them on his wall. He never had sex with them. He did, however, make "clothes" out of peoples skin, and wear them. He was sick, and twisted, and not a nice person. He killed 2 women because they wouldn't go out with him. I read a magazine all about him in school.

he did eat people, cause in the show i saw(it was on discovery so it has to be true) it said he used to give his neighbours meat that he got from "hunting".
after he was caught out for the murders he told them during questioning that he never went hunting and didn't own any hunting gear, so it was human meat he ate and gave to his neighbours.

My mistake. I know he (If you're squimish, or weak of heart, stop reading now) killed a woman, cut off her head, hung her from rafters and pretty much removed her insides, like you do with deer. But later on, he couldn't understand this because he had an aversion to blood and killing. I think he must have been a schizophrenic or something.

theres been loads written/spoken about him since he was the first murderer in the media of televison and radio so i guess a lot of it is untrue and alot of it is myth.
who knows what really happened, even the police and forensic reports probibly weren't too reliable since it happened in a small town in the 50's(i think)
