agh ... thats really hard to read.
Jim when we update our software in a few months there will be a calander just for gigs, that you can look at on a weekly daily and monthly basis, and even put in recurring events.

The size of the page ? (as in length)

I would use the whole width or 90% of the width of the page.
I would make the table cells, so that you can see them.

Maybe break it into month by month pages.

was thinking of segmenting it alright, not too worried about width though.

it is a good site but like pablo said a little hard to read and the way all types of everything are mixed together-folk dancing with hip hop night clubs- maybe colour code different types of effents like the whats on people do.
