just a query - did any of you gig-go-ers attend a recent gig by dylan+my evil X? what was it like? and what the hell did he mean by the evil X comment? i'm not really evil am i?

my evil ex is the name of the band, yes? was asking him about it there recently and i believe the consensus reached was that it's just a cool name which everyone can relate to (everyone ahs an evil ex, after all). dunno though, i tend to forget conversations vvery easily.

didn't get to the gig but i hear he unveiled a new haircut!

he got his hair cut this winter, if that's what you mean - and it was almost entirely grey last time I saw him too. His long black hair I kinda liked, except when he hadn't washed in a while, which was, unfortunately, most of the time.
my god, i am an evil ex - i'm still bitching about him a year later!

so your ex formed a band or is singer or something called it my evil ex and since your his ex the band my evil x is named after you, am i gettin all this right?

that's what it seems like - and that's a pretty egocentric way of looking at it isn't it? i seem to think that the whole world revolves around me and that no man could ever get over me...

but i don't think he's had any other relationship as intense as ours... and even though it's been a long time since we've been in contact... i wonder... i mean - what would you think???


if he makes it famous, and he is being interviewed by smash hits, and they ask where the name comes from - what is he gonna say??? and is it gonna get me in trouble when i am in high political office?

ya and if he makes it rich and famous you should be entitled to some form of royalties for being the evil x that gave him inspiration.

yup royalties and a percentage of all t-shirt sales if the t-shirt has my evil x written on it.
you'll be made for life if this guy gets anywhere beyond cork.

Maybe we can contact them for an official response. If someone wants post up their website address (even shit bands have websites these days ;) ) and we'll see what his position is on the name.

Oh my god - the new hair cut is a form of mohawk, in the bright bright red red colour my used to be - funnily enough, before I became ex...

yeah, met him the other night alright. hair looking pretty good i thought. covers up the silver though, which was cool in a holden caulfield-type manner
