PRESS RELEASE
'Go back to those goldsoundz' is the opening line of the Pavement song 'Goldsoundz' which is the inspiration behind Cork's latest club night in The White Rooms (next to the Bodega). The organisers (the freakscene crew) plan to do exactly what it says on the tin with regard to the music policy and intend to play a mixture of classics from the past along with what the DJs predict maybe the classics of the future.
The Bodega's restaurant will be converted into a laid back Indie haven with DJ Alan Fadd presiding over all thngs alternative. The White Room at the back of the Bodega (upstairs) will play host to some Funk, Soul, Motown & Disco Goldsoundz with DJ Jenny Glitt on the decks. There will be free access between both rooms, although the Bodega itself will be run seperately as per normal. Entry to Goldsoundz is via the restaurant entrance.
