She knew her new name might finally stick when she got a phone message recently: "Hi, GoVeg.com. This is your mother. Please call me."
It might sound more than a little odd — but it's true. A young animal rights activist from Indiana once known as Karin Robertson has legally changed her name to that of a Web site run by her employer, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

meat is also one of the basic foods we are designed to eat. humans are omnivores, we are not able to be entirely healthy without meat, ask any doctor and they'll tell you the meat is an essential dietary component

meat isn't essential nowadays sham coz you can get all the nutrients you need from meat substitutes (tofu). many cultures favour a vegetarian diet because overall it is better for you. vegetarians are less likely to suffer from heart problems for example. and if you don't believe me read my home ec. book.

i don't eat meat, but i'm also not a vegetarian cause i'll have the occasional burger in mcdonalds(which isn't technically meat) or ham sandwich but never have a steak or anything like that, so what does this make me? a meat eating vegetarian i think.

i was kinda like you, outlaw torn, for years in that i would eat chicken but about a year ago now i went fully vegetarian. I don't think i could ever go back now.

thats the thing, i don't eat chicken or fish either. its not that i'm against eating the cute little animals, i just don't like the taste of most animal based products. i'm a freak i tell ya. give me friut and veg any day over meat.

the main reason why i went vegetarian,outlaw, was because i hate the taste of meat products, meat and fish. it got to the stage where i didn't even like the taste of chicken.

i dunno how people can eat steak like its the nicest thing in the world, a few of my friends even like their stake not too well done and some times the meat looks raw and pink, it amazes me how people eat that kind of thing.
It's much tastier, if you overcook it it just tastes like charcoal...

plus im happy eating the cows from up the road and the pigs from over there all goes down easy! had 1 whopper of a chick burger2 day was like huge! you know!
plus whats up with the vegies stop being vegies (this my 1st time reading this thread) Vampira is there 3rd persom i have herd of in the last few mths turning back to the dark side. like my friend was siting in a park with her eating a roll packed with everything! when she asked me 4 a bit. i gave it 2 her she eat some gave it back then it clicked. i said wate a sec r n t you a vegy. she replyed not nomore and eat more of my roll! :wakko:

well i had a tit in a bun from hillbillies the oter night and I got sick, could have been their "special" sauce tho.
Apart from that, it's great. I've red discovered an unknown love for ham.

hmmm, special sauce, that sounds a bit odd in the don't ask what it is kinda way.
