Passenger loses claim for 'broken leg' in bus stair tumble
A PASSENGER who fell after a bus allegedly "jerked" was heard to say: "It's a claim. It's a claim. I've broken my leg."
But Antonio Nunes (31) walked from the Circuit Civil Court yesterday with nothing apart from a court order to pay Dublin Bus's €5,000 legal costs.
Circuit Court president Mr Justice Esmond Smyth said Nunes, of Killinarden, Tallaght, Dublin, undoubtedly hurt himself somewhat but certainly had not broken a leg.
