Irish schools stop truants with text messages
DUBLIN, Ireland (Reuters) -- Two Irish schools are testing a new scheme using modern mobile-phone technology to take the temptation out of playing truant.
Under the scheme, a database records the names of absent students each day and automatically sends out a text message to parents notifying them if their child missed roll-call.

if that was me id be killed cus i miss so much school... camera phones are banned in my school! a few girls took photos of 1st years in the toliet! fucking spastics!

It is a shite hole tho isnt it!!! this year has been the worst.. a thrid year put through the door window by the home.Ec room another 1st year pregnant.. and not having A fucking Phyisics class!
i just cant believe sumone would do that!! no wonder the phones are banned
but i heard they r being banned in most schools to stop cheating etc & taking unfatering photos of teachers

im late every morning! ok most i dont need 2 sign in i just walk passed and give office a wave, they even hold tha late thinging 4 me, there just used 2 me, i get up at around 8,45 have food and so on then walk de mile 2 school :wakko:
I would have been fucked if that was goin on last year...i reckon i missed bout 1/2 of 6th year and most of the end of fifth year...Oh what a fuckin role model to the kids!

my metal work teacher gave me a lift 1 day and just said late agen...well youe expeted 2 at this stage :wakko:
It'll be holographic representations of the little bastards appearing in classes next. i was the guy that used to write notes for the people in my class. the writing was so bad all the teachers accepted it.

ppl in my school just dont bother with notes
there is tis 1 feela every thursday at around 1:45 goes home what him do it every time. 1 day tha teacher i have at that time said hey ***** has not gone home 2 day. but sure anuff he walked passed tha window and gave a wave :wakko:

well i never really went on the hop 4m school. but i would take alot of days off.(with the help of mum)

its of a sun set with an abstact feel something we both like! abstract as im finished there for good i gave it to him as a thank you present for getting me my A in me J.C :)
oh i cried today.. it was my last day.. im back thrusday to to do eh oliver play!.. oh the tears wouldnt stop..even tho its a shit school i went there for 4 years.. and the girls i no since i was 2!! ill miss them so much! even the silly 1st years! :'(
