View Full Version : Pizza - who makes the best base/toppings in town ?
whats your fav pizza company ?
It would have to be domino's for me (sorry deb) , their base is far superior ! I had one last night and it was yum. We called them on our way home and asked them to have it ready for 8pm, it cam eout of the oven exactly at 8pm ! They have pretty good service. The only thing about pizza places I find is the price.
If anyone has ideas to add to the poll lemme know.
Oh 4 star is my favourite! Especially that one on Washington St. Their staff are so friendly! Especially that girl with the short dark hair and glasses. I love their pizza. Shame I have no money...

I HATE PIZZA let it be known again! oh yucky! Shane in 4star! go him! even tho i bought a pizza only once and that was a present for my ex and his new flat!!! pizza is an aqirued taste.

four star are great we've gotten two 16" for the price of one for the last three fridays in a row, cause we have one of those token thingys they don't want back apparently. maybe it's jinxed or something!
on the back on cinema tickets you get two 9" pizzas for the price of one, that pretty reasonable if you ask me!
homemade homemade. homemade. it has to be . its the best value you can get and the most fun. i was at an italian pizza party last year, it was great , everyone made their local pizza, i just brought (irish) beer, but it was fantastic. yeah italians know how to make it alright. :lilpig:

4 Star is my preference,though I will eat pizza from the other places too!Never had homemade pizza.Pizza in general is YUMMY!!
4 star but if im in town and have a bit of extra coinage i shall purchase in Gino's....Superb.

he doesnt care hes in wales. there they have yummy pizza hut oh my god its fab!! but i think the lads go there also just to stare at one of the girls working there. i only saw her from afar so i dont know really wot she looks like but shes keeping them happy and feeding them so i wont complain. :)
we should have a pizza hut in cork!!:( homemade pizza in italy is yummy 2. while i was there i was munching it down and drinking italian beer oh the memories :) i miss milan

Oh i tried pizza today! well okay if you say i tried the crust and abit of ham..
i know i did but next time i go i wanna bring steve with me then i would b fine. anyway i miss the friends i made over there:( i really do & i miss all the lovely art & not having parents. but one thing i dont miss is i dont miss living with that family & having to clean 4 them& put up with their mood swings

thank god i actually didnt type it!! Niamh has got fuzzy toes! thats the only place i can say that word belongs!! i burnt pizza at 6am the lads still ate it!:)
the dominoes dude let me keep my voucher last night :D and d ate the leftovers for brekkie:p

i was at a pizza party tonight! i nearly vomited! they were all from 4*pizza the boxes where huge and micheal ate a hole one! YUCK! Why is it always green peppers? never red or yellow?
i dont do leftover pizza, d prefers leftover to fresh so she gets my lefties

i hate cheese and every other diary product out there. bad reactions on my skin... :( so no cheese for me! and i eat burgars without any toppings either! very picky i am!

Actually (please don't kill me deb!) the nicest pizza ever is Pizza Hut... had it once in Dublin, and I can still taste it... mmmm. I've been to the edge! (i know I'm repeating myself but it's true, I have!)
i wont kill you jen, theres no pizza hut in cork so technically i cant call it competition.
we had big pizza boss lady in today, her official title is "she who rules with a fist made of dough"

in ALDI you can get two pizza's for €2.50, now they don't taste too bad. Not a bad price to be honest. They would normally be €3 for 1. I did manage to burn one of them so my opinion is only based on one.
Their Ham+Mushroom one is nice, I'm quite fond of it I must admit. And as you say it's about half the price of buying one in most other places...

The best pizza I've had in ages was made yesterday in 4 Star by a friend.
It had a shitload of pepperoni.And then MORE cheese was thrown over it.:eeek:
The maker knows who she is! :D Twas a divine munch!
Oh yes, **** on Washington street really is the best pizza place EVER!! And the staff are so friendly and obliging! And they work really hard...

i'll second that. aldi only a few mins from me here in ballincollig and me being cheap buys stuff there. try the orange juice that comes in the glass bottles, tis quite good (that reminds me i must buy more) most of the stuff in aldi is made by big name companys but sold without the brand names so it's cheaper. similar to the cheap electronics that sony do.
yeah, aldi's choclate is yummy, it's not irish choclate so it's like bein on hols again :D
