there have been no posts in this forum in 30 days so i thought i'd start one.

how come no musicians post here, it seems like a good idea for people wanting to start a band to post here.

so any musicians want to get together and start a band or something? or just mess around do some gigs, anything?

what you need is to spread the word that if someone is looking for a certain type of artist , not just metal or classical or whatnot, and they are in the cork area or close enough, then it might be worth their trouble adding a comment here.

its been nearly 30 days since i started this thread and still theres hardly no musicians posting here, come on people spread the word about this part of the forum, lets get some people to post here.

Hi! How are you? I'm a 23 yr old Corkonian and I play guitar. I used to be in a band until the stupid leaving cert came along. Since then I've been jamming around missing the life. We played about 58 gigs, give or take. Well about 20. I like Frank Zappa, Bowie, and...well, most music really, and some of that old music that they used to compose before electricity was invented...also I like Ren and Stimpy and Futurama, and James Joyce (fart) and Richard E grant in one film before, it was good, and yer man David Lynch and his films plus Luke who used to be in home and away...not really...Kenneth Williams from the carry ons...again, not really...oh and I like Brazil by Terry Gilliam and I know how to sing the main theme tune, especially in the shower....and the Planets, Gustav Holst...but anyway. I can play guitar, in fact I can bullshit quite well on a good day. I'm shit at writing lyrics but I could sing someone else's, preferably in the kind of Roger Waters of Pink Floyd pitch, you know, that's kinda my range. There's a musical genius inside of me just waiting to be freed. If you wanna rock out get onto me. or something. Jesus.
