On the "Now" front, a class party I had planed for tuesday 10th (tommorrow) in Nancy's has fallen through, some crap about exams coming up?:rolleyes: The place is still booked though. Same promo as the last eirjobs party that was held there. I know its not the real thing, but it might just help tide people over till the real deal occurs. If nothing else it will just be a few cheap pints on a thursday night. Everybody's welcome. Hell, anybodies welcome!:D Come on people, don't leave me all alone in the bar by myself. Pretty please...:love:
Sadly i won't be available to go to this party.
Now is not really a good time [exams :eek: agh] but as soon as the exams are over, I'm there! [and probably all summer long as well...]

who's up for a session thursday night? fridays good friday so college and school will be closed.
im heading to camouflage on thursay.Wont be drinking tho.I went out last friday, got completely obliterated and split my head open. I dont know how i splitit, dontknow how I got home,all i know is that my head hurts and drink is evil. I was in the pub bout 5 mins ago and stuck to lucozade and blackcurrant. go me!
provived i'm not working the late shift thurs i'd be up for it.

This reminds me, I meant to post about this a week ago but forgot. A cousin of mine is doing some charity conservation work this summer in Uganda or someplace, can't remember exactly... Anywho, he will be teaching people how to plant tree's and crops and how to properly irrigate the land and stuff. Because it's all for charity he has to raise a load of funds to cover his travel and accommodation. Tonight (Wednesday the 16th) he will be having a fancy dress thing up in Nancy Spains. I starts at 8, the entry will set you back a paltry €5. There will be dj's and raffles and spot prizes and the like. Also, anyone in fancy dress gets free in to Freakscene afterwards! Sorry this is so late, and off topic, but its for a good cause. Be there if ye can!:love:

freds is the best, but nancys is also really good, and the brog is cool as well and they all have beer, thats an unfair choice, they are all really good.

I quite fancy nancys myself cos the bouncers are a bit dodgy as of late ill get in no prob with the lads but i know a lot of people who wont get in and havent on the odd occasions in the past + EVERYBODY loves drinkin inside a feckin tree

freds is the best place to go, altho the brog would be bigger and in the city centre, freds or brog, either one is great.

ye should have the next drinking session in the half moon theatre next thursday during camoflage, it'd be late enough so every one would be after a few drinks already and wouldn't be too shy about talking to each other,
also it could be in the metal place down stairs, there's never a lot of people there.
or just go with the brog, either one is good.
The next official one won't be until after horrible exams, however there is a wide and varied selection of pubs in Cork which would be very happy to get your business if anyone wants to go drinking before that don't let our exams stop you!
i went to the brog on thur night, got pissed, it was ahem, fun shall we say?

friday is on, im finished work at 6 so i'll be stationed in fredz from then, everyone welcome to stay in mine that night cos they rents are going away. i might live to regret saying that.

i've organised a session in nancy spains. pints are 2.60 with tokens and they laying on some food for us too. i'll be there from about half 8 so come by and say hello

ok, but how do we recognise each other.
i never met anyone off this forum in real life. we should all wear t shirts with our on line personas written on the front.

i'll make it to nancy's , maybe not the other places, due to the fact that I have only slept 4 hours in the last 30, and its 11am at the moment so add another 12 on to that by the time tonight comes around.

So... who went? Paid a brief visit, was good fun, no food though!

I was there for a few minutes.
Lots and lots of beer (or pints of poof) were had , sadly I didn't get to taste any of the fine food (either) given to us by the friendly staff of nancy spains.

so it was a good forum outing was it? i didn't join ye cause i'm extremely shy and awkward around new people, lol
i was up in nancys but the place seemed kinda empty, went away after a short while, couldn't see anyone that looked like forum people. altho what do you forum people look like?
anyway i'll go to the next one for sure.
they/we were in the cave at the back. me and ciarán spent a fair bit of time at the bar :umm: as the others were a little bit noisey ;)
