this was just said of the PA system here we would like to inform students that in the even of an emergency between now and closing time , students should use only the main staris and not the emergency exits stairs .

what the hell do they think ... these people in the boole library are really really stupid . Plus they are putting lives at risk too .

IN my school we only have two sets of stairs, front and back, and you're supposed to use each one to get to a particular floor. God knows which one is which. AND it's in our school rules that you must walk on the right hand side of the corridor.

WHAT IF there had been a fire on the main stairs, Pabs? ye'd all have suffocated and then persished in a smoke-inhalation fashion!

We have to walk on the left hand side. There's signs all over saying that. Probaby because the 5 or so buildings that make up our school are all stairs.

in our old school we had to walk in an anti clockwise direction
it never really worked though
in our new school some of the stairs have been banned but no one knows which one so that doesnt work either
the lift is definitely out of question cos if u use it they get your picture off the security cameras and give out to you.
meanys, they ruin everyones fun

wtf is the point in having a lift if you cant use it i ask! hey you should take a pic of the inside of the lift and put it up to the camera like in that film....

school the good ol' days of last year. you dont really get killed if you walk on the other side as Mary O never really walks on the right side she is always doing wot she likes... awh poor Mary O u kindof miss her giving out when youre not there anymore:rolleyes:

i think walking on the right is just a general thing in schools. but my school is all 1 floor sept 4 1 roomthat is never realy used as it over looks the hall and is a great spot 4 throing things at ppl :wakko:

We have a big lift in our school but it's not finished yet and it's for wheelchair use only. And lifts are supposed to be not used in ANY fires. Remember thjat bit from the Matrix just after Neo and Trinity blast shit out of the Guards in the lobby, then walk up to the lift which has a sign that said 'Not to be used in a fire'. It was fuuuuuuuny.

I'm sure there would be a fair few people in the library at that time. Dumb people don't really think do they ? Not saying that the people who work in the boole library in ucc as security folks are half-wits or idiots now or anything ;)

Hee.In my school there are no stairs and lot's of doors to the out side about 19/20 i think.
