this thread appears to be a non starter from 2002, lets try an get it going again. everyone add a new word daily, or when ever ya feel like it.

today my word or the day is:

Titer

A titer is a measurement of the amount or concentration of a substance in a solution. It usually refers to the amount of medicine or antibodies found in a patient's blood.

Interesting, I would have said titre but apparently both are correct. You learn something new every day.

i just noticed that there was 2 ways of spellin it, i also noticed if i write the word by itself i spell it titer, but as part of a word i spell it the other way as in microtitre. how strange.

I don't know what word I would have used . But at 8am on a Monday morning I find the word funny ;)
