Yippee The Twin Towers coming out soon enough.
First film ruled and the second film looks and feels like it will be just as good as the first.
Anyone know a date of relaese?

:):):) when i was reading the book and the couple of chapters with the Ents in them it took me bloodly ages cos i was reading them so slowly just like the way the Ent's speak.

The Easterlings look very unhappy indeed.
About double the height of the orginal figures in virgin,smiths etc....The detail is incredible,its worth every penny in my opinion.The ring even glows on his finger,and the detail on him is incredible.

There is this new shop called "Other Realms" ( I think thats the name.) thats opening soon, that sells aload of Fantasy/Sci Fi stuff like books and games like War Hammer..
It looks pretty cool and theres some LOTR's action figuers there..
If you all want Directions then.. You just turn left down that Alley by the Ginger Bread House.. (Right Side Allley.) and its some where on your left a few shops down.. The woman at the shop told me its open on Tuesday..

Me and my sister are really releaved! From the moment he came into the film (ridden on a horse) we went: WAAAAAWW. ofcourse Elija Wood (Frodo) is also yummy but still... Orlando is our favorite.

if ye read the hobbit and the 3 books from LOTR's
then ye gotta read The Simirilion <----I think its by far the best of all the books. Hard to read but well worth it.
The unfinished Tales is another good one but not great. Very interesting though. Kinda fills u in on all the stuff that was talked about throughtout the books.
DEF read the simirilion though
I was thinking about getting the simirilion cause its all about morgoth and the war with the wizards,sounds very interesting.
Might pick it up over christmas.

do its really good. It starts in the first age and talks about the gods how man,dwarfs,elves with first created.
Ull be surprised to find out how dwarfs came to be.
Its talks about all the cool stuff and y things are the way they are in LOTR's, Sauran etc. etc. GET IT. Its the best book iv read from the seris to-date.
Perhaps i shall then.
The charecter of Morgoth sounds really cool.
Sauron was like a pawn compared to him!

talk of lotr action figures turned to talk of re-enacting it on the green outside my house. colin had a image me and rob standing like the huge statues in the film. i said we've often chased tony around on the green (purely for fun or out of boredom) and that it involves big sticks for throwing at him and hitting him with

T'was very good LOTR's2, fav and funniest part was probably when Gimli was at the wall and couldnt see over it, very funny.

Jackson left out the shelob part in TTT in order to give the movie a more Linear ending. Had he of put it in, the movie would have been prolonged for another 30 mins at least. He has emphasised already that the scouring of the shire will not be in the 3rd movie and that sauruman will meet a different fate in ROTK.

I saw the "Twin"towers over the weekend for the second.time I spent the film explaining the film to three women.=(It seemed to go a lot faster the second time.I'd like to see it again.(not going pay 7 quid though)I can't wait fot the trilogy set=)=)

Wow, can't believe I just found this topic. I loved the second movie, but it is very rapidly shifting away from what happened in the book. There is a good comic strip on Dork Tower if anyone is looking for a laugh;

Any scenes with Shelob in them will compleatly rock, though she is just a tiny, cuddly, baby spider compared to Ungoliant. They will probably make a movie of the Hobbit some time after the third movie, I agree that a movie based on the Silmarillion would be cool but would be tres long and impossibly confusing to anyone who had not read the book The Silmarillion.

erm i read the book and it still confused the hell out of me. Seeing the film would only make it worse. :):) fer example there are seven elven brothers (i think 7) which this story is heavily based on all begin with FAR........... and so many other names seem so alike and i agree to make a film on the Simarilion would need another trilogy.
