I have a couple of projects due for just after Christmas, we chose our own topics in them.

Chemistry - Hydrogen uses in Industry and as a Fuel Source
Physics - Earth's Magnetic Poles and the effects of a reversal of poles
Irish - History of Irish Music (In freakin' Irish)
German - Don't know what project to do, guess the Third Reich would be interesting
Spanish - Fuck that project, it's not as if I am keeping it on for the Leaving Cert
English - Bram Stoker's Dracula
Thank God I do Applied Maths instead of History or Geography because I don't have to do a project in App Math.

I have to do a biology project on EPIDEMIOLGY. I barely even know what it is. Bitch of a teacher.

collaboration is a great thing . you should see the amount that goes on sometimes in college, its amazing actually how people can get a degree and not actually know half the stuff, all they are good at is taking exams and plagarism.

Im doing a project for physics..well i want to anyway.. to see if every person in china jumped at the same time the earth will move its axis... it would be a cool project.. sin gave me the idea so i said it to my teacher..he laughed..
ive a spanish project due tomrrow 2all about murica" and guess what i dont have it done.

My bro is in 3rd yr at C.I .T and the ammount of study he's doing its unbelievable.. but yes the lad wants to pass.I want to be in collage for all the fun but not all the work.

Plagarism rules!:D Simple system, someone who is not lazy gets up in the morning and attends those annoying 9 o'clock labs, ie. not me. I go to all the labs after lunch. After the exchange of some notes, all the nessisary lab reports are 'written' (read as 'copied word for word':)). I pass my labs with a 50% (ish) attendance record but 100% (ish) of reports handed up. Silly lecturers never bother to check if I was in attendance on the days I have handed up reports for. How long can this last? From what you have written Pablo, apparently for ever and ever! It's the way things have always been, the cosmic circle of the student attemting, with a certain degree (hah, degree!:D) of success, to avoid doing any work what-so-ever. I truely love collage. You work hard at avoiding hard work. Ahh, how the essential lessons of life are learned...:D

our biology guy does :(

Lord Raath
10-12-2002, 15:13
Poor you.:( I really dont see the bloody point of most of the reports I have to write up anyway. Physics labs, fair enough, experiment done, nicely presented lab report for the nice lecturer to read in his spare time. The rest of them, feck'in waste of my precious time! Like I have nothing better to do anyway...grumble...grumble...

As an after thought, Biology, yuck!!!:curse:

yeah, it was so boring today, we had to prepare bacteria stains. We had to do about 20(exaggeration) of them.
We only have to write up 1 physics report a term, next 1 is before xmas.

Lord Raath
10-12-2002, 18:03
I'm supposed to celebrate the completion of each and every physics labs with a glorious report. Course, having only atteneded 2 physics labs since the start of the year (cause its at 9 on a friday morning, not a flaming hope), that is not so difficult.:emb: More of my famous, "Do you mind if I borrow some of your notes for a few hours?", "No problem, what you looking for specificly?", "Umm, everything!", conversations. It's quite annoying to be averaging about 90% and end up failing a subject purely on lab attendance.:(

my physics one is on at 9 on thursady mornings... grrrr, there's not a single morning where I'm not up at 7 for college!!! grrr!!!

Me up at 6.30 every morning. Me walk 20 minuits in whatever god awful weather this part of the country is experiencing at the time to a bus stop. Me stand in said bus for 40 mins as it winds its dreary way though suburbia on its way to CIT. And on top of all this, me works bloody 6-11, 3-4 nights a week, then me runs through the city to make the 11.15 bus home, where me gets to eat the diner me doesn't have time for before work cause me doesn't finish in CIT till 5. Then me gets 5-6 hours sleep. Repeat ad nausium...:(

Christ, after reading over all that, I'm starting to feel kinda sorry for me...:(:upset::'(

Lord Raath
10-12-2002, 19:20
Yes, free pizza is good. I work in an off-licence, but do not get free beer. This is bad. I must bring this point to my boss's attention. I demand my constitutional right to free beer!

thefreak'sfreak
10-12-2002, 19:24
Damn straight.I get free muck where I work. All the muck that you could ever need.Hopefully free chemicals later on=)

Lord Raath
10-12-2002, 19:43
I get all the chemicals I need from beer and pizza. Not free beer or free pizza I might add. *sigh* Life is harsh...:(

I think they managed to steal over £5,000 worth of alcohol . The guy was letting his mate 'take' the booze without paying for it.

Lord Raath
13-12-2002, 02:52
Yeah pablo, heard all about that. I work for O'Donovans too, and I have an inside informant. I knew about it before my boss did!:D Stupid thing to do anyway, you have not got a hope of getting away with it, especially in a store as small as the one in Douglas. The closest I get to free beer is knowing about all the best special offers before they start, resulting in very cheap beer. 99 cent a bottle for San Miguel? Theres a slab of these babies sitting under my stairs, cowering in fear for the end of my exams... Maybe I should just invest in another 24 altogether?:D

pablo
13-12-2002, 12:56
LR : feel free to keep us all informed about specials here. How much did the guys get charged for , was £5,000 accurate ?

is that san migel offer on now ? ?

Lord Raath
13-12-2002, 15:46
It's still on, though only for as long as stocks last. And its either San Migel or Stella Artois, I'm always mixing those bloody two up. 24 bottles for €23.76. It's only €29.99 for 24 cans of Fosters too, as far as I remember. I'm working tonight again so I will try and confirm for ye.

awhh i feel sorry 4 the poor guy he was just trying to help his friend out :) wish hed help me out...

Lord Raath
23-12-2002, 03:39
It's Stella, but I know that at least where I'm working we are finding it practically impossible to keep it in stock. For some bloody reason people just keep coming in and buying the stuff!
