For anyone who is bitching about the deleting of messages, I have to disagree. It is essential. It doesn't matter that your post count is going down, most of the regular posters in here have fairly large or growing post counts.

Certain people (I'm admitting my responsibility here too, because I was fairly bad and for that I apologise profusely) have been abusing the board a lot, using it as a bitching/wargames forum (*holds up right hand for guilt on mboth parts). For my part, I'm sorry to those I bitched at, and those I took advantage of by making them think I was someone I wasn't.

I understand that there are some people who are a bit angry about deleting messages, and I can see their point (that 200 post-marker is always JUST over the horizon!), but really the world is a bad enough place OUTSIDE. Don't bring it inside here too. I'm going to stop right NOW because it's ridiculous, and childish.

I'm also sorry for any part I took in bitching, although in most cases I think I tried to stay impartial. However, with posts made in the last week, I have been very snappish and bitchy. I dont' know what's wrong with me, but I'm shouting at everyone.

I agree that deleting posts is essential, but DAMN IT! I'd made it to 200 and all :'(

Thank you, PhoenixJ, chain-smoker and Faith... I'd like if there was a better way to do this because I suspect that I will be neither fair nor reasonable in deciding what to get rid of, even with the best intentions, but I can't see any other way for the moment.

posts have been deleted .
they are gone forever .... lets weep , but then celebrate .

the custom title level is now removed as people wanted it so then they started to post silly stuff to boost their count.

it might be put back at a later stage , or else just given to everyone. i don't like the idea of a class system to start off with.

im stuck with a freaking nappy under my name >(

but it's all good in the hood! I appreciate all the hard work!(this is me sucking up to pabs so he'll put my posts back to normal)

as for the deletion of the posts ... most of them have been moved to TBD or the SinBin , posts in these forums don't go towards your overall post count. i think some people focus on post count a little too much.

I did post stupid, inane posts to get to 200, but I stopped when I got there. But it drives me insane when people reply to EVERY thread to up their post counts. But I'm just a nit- picker.

i think the posts in sin bin should count. ya it's mostly rubbish but it's out of the way and not bothering anyone. people need somewhere to spout rubbish and i'm too poor to afford a shrink

You should always think about what you wanna talk about and then say to your self is it intresting or not to other people.. :D

I'm sorry, but that's like going out and thinking "Would my parents approve of what I'm doing?" Just post what you want, as long as it's relevant and not mean, and let the admins delete it if they feel it's necessary.

I agree with Faith (gogo Vicky!). Post what you want within the realms of decency and plain SENSE. If you wanna bitch at someone (whihc is what half of this is over, really) then PM them.
