i was wonderin is their any black metal fans around???all i ever seem so see is a few old guys here and there wearing bathory or mayhem tops.
if there r any black metal fan im willing to swap tapes considering how hard it is to get a black metal cd in cork without paying 30euros for it although i managed to pick up an immortal cd for 15 euro in virgin.

Not really a black metal fan myself, but do like the stuff I hear of the genre...

If you are buying black metal albums round Cork, you might be surprised to find second hand stuff in Vibes + Scribes, they do some good stuff there....

whatever you do, don't go to HMV, they are absolute rip-off artists there - they have import stickers on albums that aren't imports, and charge 30 to 40 euros for anything in BM ..... Carcass' Heartwork CD for 30 euro? I think Not... 40 euro for Emperor's Prometheus:The Discipline of Fire And Demise? ..... Jesus H. Gobsmacking Christ.

Best way to get BM albums is buy off the web, if you go to the labels themselves, you'll find they charge ridiculously low rates for their CD's and shippping costs plus postage. Go searching for these labels - Hammerheart, Nuclear Blast, Moonfog or Limbonic Art- on the web, or directly to the label, or buy off Amazon.com. Much cheaper.

Oh, and search for a band called Thus Defiled. Very good thrash/Death/Black metal band.

Oh yeah, another CD you should look out for - it's not black metal, but its damn good death/thrash - go get Arch Enemy - Wages Of Sin. I found a copy of it in Virgin for 15 euros, and it had 2 CDs full of classic melodic thrash/death metal. Very like The Haunted mixed with Iron Maiden-type overtones.

iv got arch enemy-burning bridges and its fucking excellent.its got most their best stuff on it.iv heard wages of sin its really good.they new singer is sexy!!!
i mailorder most my cd's from the nuclear blast website u can get some excellent t-shirts on it.
