As far as I know all the class assemblies and such are happening between the 9th and the 13th and First year classes start either on the 16th, 17th or 18th, depending on what course you're doing.
You should have gotten all of your info and such by post by now though.
What course are you doing? (I might be in your class)

Ah kul.
I'm agreeing on the steepness of the €700, I get a full grant which means that I don't have to pay it but the forms are a right beatch, I've been waiting three weeks for a silly bit of paper which says that I can go to college for free, without it I've to pay, I'm totally screwed if they bring back tuition fees though.

I'm doing Chemistry, I missed out on UCC by fifteen points but I can transfer after a while if I do well enough.

Were you reading the "How to get around" bit in the booklet, it's like deciphering a code just to find your class!

I don't really like the CIT campus, it looks like it's made of lego bricks, badly.

€700 is a pain. fee's wont come back. its discrimination of the highest order.

i personally think cit looks like a mingled prison and secondry community school. its going to be a larf tho. oh yeah and a bit of hard work too. i hope you like maths!

Hell, the grounds and buildings of CIT can't be any worse than the Fás Training Center grounds.... they're both around the same area, on Rossa Ave. , but the Fas building looks like and has the feel of H-Block ... and I should know, I was there for 6 months - 6 months of non-stop hell and condescending abuse from the crap instructor there. Remember kids, don't end up in Fas.

CIT is not too bad, I spent 3 years there doing fuck all but had a great laugh. I'm returning this year to start anew, this time with Electronic Engineering. THe biggest drawback to CIT is that the nearest pubs are at least 10-15 mins walk away.:( This might seem like a childish complaint to those who are a bit mature minded, but the fact is there is nowhere in the whole of CIT you can go and just relax between classes. It is so frustrating at times. Anywho, looking forward to returning to the scene of many, many crimes!:p
